is a Real-Time Tactical Tower Defense game that replaces static towers with mobile, commandable Cat Operators.
Manage your Coffee reserves, deploy your squad, and micro-manage their tactical stances to survive the rodent invasion.
โ๏ธ The 4-Stance Tactical System
Unlike traditional TD games, your units aren't statues. You have full control over their behavior. Click on any operator to instantly switch their Tactical State:
- ๐ Follow (Chase): The Operator actively pursues detected enemies. Perfect for cleaning up leaks.
- ๐ก๏ธ Patrol (Skirmish): The Operator maintains distance, poking enemies from afar. Ideal for kiting heavy units.
- ๐ Assign (Hold): Order the Operator to a specific strategic point. Block choke points or protect high-ground.
- ๐ฐ Standstill (Siege): The Operator roots in place to gain massive Attack Range. High risk, high reward.
Each Cat Operator has a Preferred Tactic. Matching their state to their playstyle unlocks bonus stats and passive synergies!
โ Coffee, Cooldowns, and Ultimates
Your primary resource is Coffee, which regenerates over time.
- Deploy & Redeploy: Operators have a respawn cooldown when defeated. Can't wait? Spend extra Coffee for an Spend Coffee to unleash game-changing skills.
- Strategic Choice: Do you spend Coffee to deploy more units, save a dying cat, or nuke the screen with an Ultimate? The choice is yours.
๐ Dual-Progression: Levels vs. Loot
Defeating rats grants EXP and Coins.
- Level Up: Boost your Cats' raw stats.
- Shop (Roguelike Elements): Spend Coins on random artifacts. Some buff specific units, while others improve your economy.
Build a hyper-carry Cat with tons of items, or spread your wealth to create an balanced army.
๐ ๏ธ Developer & Designer Notes
This project was created as a showcase of system architecture and numerical design.
Key Features for Design Nerds:
- Modular Damage Calculation: Features a complex damage pipeline (Armor, Penetration, Multiplicative/Additive layers) inspired by MOBA architectures.
- Solo Development: All code, system design, and gameplay logic were created by me.
- Visual assets were generated using AI tools to prioritize gameplay iteration.
